Note
GEM. Good size perfect specimen with distinct plate outlines. The mouth plates are still intact. Minor original stain around the mouth but I keep it as it is because if I clean it further, I am afraid that the mouth plates may fall off. Very similar to Ova canaliferus but it can be distinguished in the arrangement of the pores in the deeply depressed anterior ambulacrum, which are developed as a single row of pore-pairs on each side. Trawled by fishing boat in 150-200m deep, 20 Dec 2007. My very last specimen of this species.
