NoteAsperitas bimaensis choclostyloides (Schepman, 1892) is a subspecies of land snail belonging to the Helicidae family, endemic to Indonesia. Main Characteristics: - Shape: The shell is spherical, solid, and sturdy with distinct whorls and a very smooth, shiny surface. - Color: Very distinctive and beautiful, dominated by bright green or emerald green, with yellow or brownish lines or bands that circle the joints between the whorls, making it very striking and highly valuable as a collector's item. The inside of the shell's mouth is yellowish or light reddish. - Size: Quite large for a land snail, it feels heavy and solid when held. - Location: Found naturally on Sumba Island, East Nusa Tenggara, and the surrounding areas. It is a terrestrial animal, living in the humid forests of the island. - Specialty: Its natural and bright green color is very rare in land snails, making this subspecies one of the most sought after and appreciated by collectors throughout the world.
