| Note | This auction we will be offering a wide variety of Z. marginata consueta, all of which have come from our private collection. These specimens show the incredible subtle differences that this species has to offer! This specimen has a SUPER INFLATED BODY which really stands out when next to specimens from the same area! Classic MOTTLED DARK PATTERN covers this shell which is encompasses by the grey margins which is often found in this species. GEM- with just a tiny, hard to see wobble in the posterior canal which many would still call GEM. Live taken by old-timer diver Jon Daly on large limestone on the side of a medium limestone wall at 13m. West of Garden Island, May 2021 |
