| Note | This shell has the distinct BULBOUS SHAPE that the deepwater Z.venusta off Perth often exhibit. A lovely pink/cream background is covered with a hazy brown pattern which is separated from the margins by a soft BLUE HALO. Gem-/F+++ with just some very minor irregularities on the dorsum but hard to see. Live taken by Jon Daly on a deep, exploratory dive approximately 3 Nautical Miles North of Rottnest Island, found grazing on a large yellow sponge on the wall of a massive limestone reef at 33m. |
