| Note | One nice live-taken specimen of the rare Fissurella costata. This species is naturally rare and hard to collect because it lives only in large rocks or boulders in the surf zone, so it is always out of reach in the coast and the waves here are huge. This specimen has a natural dorsum, partially cleaned (can be cleaned to perfection with some patience), and it has some tiny chips in the borders and boring marks in the dorsum, as can be seen in the images, hence the very low price. |
