A delicate and attractive shell displaying an elegant pattern of brown bands over a grayish-violet background, creating a distinctive and highly appealing appearance. The specimen exhibits perforations on both the dorsal and ventral surfaces, features that clearly reflect its natural history and do not diminish its significance as a collectible representative of this seldom-encountered Andean taxon. Collected by local inhabitants in August 2025 from the leaf litter of a humid Andean forest at an elevation of 1,680 meters above sea level. Specimens from these increasingly threatened montane ecosystems are becoming progressively more difficult to obtain, adding further interest and desirability for the specialized malacological collector. An appealing example of this fascinating species and an excellent opportunity to acquire a shell originating from one of the world's most biodiverse yet rapidly disappearing environments.
