Palm-Mar, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Off Bahía Beach Bar Restaurant, Palm-Mar. Approx. 18 m depth; daytime technical dive. 17 July 2025. Collected by local technical diver. - | - Large, exceptionally attractive specimen. Auricles, hinge structures, marginal crenulations, and shell margins fully preserved, with no visible fractures, chips, repairs, or damage. Exterior with exceptionally intense red to reddish-pink coloration, contrasting yellow radial zones, yellow-toned auricles, and fine radial sculpture retained throughout. - | - The interiors of both valves are remarkably clean and highly glossy, displaying vivid rose-red pigmentation and exceptional natural lustre. Exterior surfaces retain minor superficial natural encrustation, consistent with the original post-collection condition and indicative of the specimen’s authenticity and lack of restoration; this encrustation is easily removable if desired. - | - The specimen has not undergone manual cleaning, polishing, restoration, or repair and remains in its original post-collection state. Mineral oil treatment may enhance exterior colour saturation if desired. - | - Condition: Gem quality; both valves matched and complete.
