| Note | ARENEIDAE - Arene sp. This is probable a new species or a color form for Arene fricki. This tiny beauty shows a really beautiful pink coloration with micro tiny axial banding pattern, great apex and superb thick lip with light chip , not really detracting this beauty. Outstanding and unusual pink color form or new species, for specialists and experts. Do not miss this tiny beauty. F++-F+++. Three months ago, I placed a sack full of dead scallops with multiple holes in it at a depth of 10 meters, and when I pulled it out, I found small species—some common, uncommon and rare. It was a great experiment and a big surprise to find such tiny and varied species. Found inside dead oyster about 10m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2026.
