| Note | Playa del Puertito de Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Boulder-field rubble habitat between rocks at 8 m depth; collected by a local diver during a night dive, July 2024. Robust specimen with well-developed nodose radial costae and pronounced shell sculpture. Exterior with a warm yellow-cream ground colour, reddish-brown suffusions, and well-defined radial ribs bearing nodules across much of the disc. Shell margins, hinge structures, auricles, and marginal crenulations intact. One auricle exhibits a micro marginal fracture of less than 0.5 mm, barely visible upon close examination; otherwise no damage is evident. The specimen is notable for its pronounced radial sculpture and clearly developed nodulose ribbing. Condition: F+++. |
