| Note | An exceptionally attractive, rare, and difficult-to-obtain species. The shell displays a striking pattern of broad black bands harmoniously arranged across a glossy surface, creating a remarkable visual contrast that immediately captures the attention of the experienced malacologist and serious collector alike. The specimen exhibits a fully developed peristome—an unequivocal indication of complete adult maturity—magnificently preserved and enhancing the refined morphology of the shell. The aperture reveals a violet interior, a highly desirable feature that greatly increases its aesthetic appeal and makes it especially attractive to discerning collectors. A faint dorsal impact scar is present, most likely the result of a predation attempt by a bird. Far from being a post-collection defect, this feature represents an authentic trace of the specimen’s natural history within its original habitat.
