| Note | FASCINATING THICK SPINY FORM BEAUTY!! Thick, colossal and heavy specimen with the most splendid branched short thick spines all around. The spire is elegantly with superb spines combined with adorable apex. There is a unique white spot design between the spire-shoulder making this shell unique. The ventral side aperture shows an remarkable black-brown-white pattern in the inner lip (parietal wall). The lip spines presents a colossal thickness with the short wide spines together. The dorsal side has the most resplendent banding pattern combined with superb spines. Some minor natural imperfections as usual for the species not really detracting the beauty. F+++. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get this real top black spiny masterpiece specimens, very selected from many dives, very difficult to get and to clean them to reach this results, hours cleaning with ultrasonic scaler. The Muricanthus population in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco is unique, as the specimens are inside a lagoon with mangroves nearby and protected from currents, waves and directly sun light, most of them covered with algae and mud keeping their apex, spines and body generally with excellent conditions, something completely different from the populations in the open sea, with much damage to their shells-spines, fully with erosion, drill holes, really ugly and complete covered by very thick hard to remove calcareous attachments. Even so, these specimens here are incredibly rare with so much better conditions for the species as usual, with incredible shapes and spines. Without a doubt this masterpieces are a treasure for anyone who wins it. Carefully handpicked with years of experience and cleaned preserving its natural parts. It is much more impressive in your hands because of the details that you can't see in the photos.
