| Note | CALLIOSTOMATIDAE - Calliostoma aequisculptum (Carpenter, 1865). EXCEPTIONAL MASTERPIECE SCULPTURE WOOOOW!! This specimen displays the most dense micro spiral ribs and between multiple granulate nodules all around combined with radiant pink color and microscopic banding dark brown spots around the shoulder and ventral side. The ventral side displays a pearly elegant aperture, intact lip and unusual original operculum. Delightful spire and intact apex. Uncommon species nowadays. Gem-F+++. For advancer collectors. See pictures. So hard to get in any conditions. Found attached under large stones near corals about 5m-7m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2026.
