Los Cristianos, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Coral-cave habitat at 8 m depth; collected during a daylight dive, 19 July 2025. Exceptionally large specimen measuring 43 mm in shell length, representing an outstanding size for Lampasopsis thomae. Shell well developed and robust, with strong variceal sculpture and a broad, expanded outer lip. The specimen retains its operculum. Aperture and marginal lip well preserved, while much of the exterior sculpture is covered by a natural calcareous coating. Overall, an exceptional reference specimen, notable for its unusually large size, robust adult morphology, retained operculum, and collection from a shallow coral-cave habitat in southern Tenerife.
