| Note | GEM- Very Rare and beautiful live taken shell with lovely pink pattern and colour. Full gloss with perfect mature thicken lip and canal. Exceptional spotting along the lip. Found by diving in 40-50m deep on sand bottom, 1999. My best and last specimen of this beautiful pink beauty. This is the exact specimen that was featured in Hardy's Internet Guide to Marine Gastropods (the 4th specimen from the top row). Difficult to find a high quality live taken specimen so beautiful like this. Only obtained from choice old collection as Aliwal shoal is now a marine protected park. |
