NoteThis magic praeclara was collected in May 2025. It was found on a yellow bollard sponge in 78 metres of water west of the Southern Zuytdorp Cliffs. Classic praeclara with very dark dorsum, ink black base, high cream margins with intense black spots and strong gold / black siphon trim. It is a heavy mature shell with perfect siphons but has a strong growth interruption on its labial side hence the Fine+/Fine++ grading. Even so it is a very special and breath taking beautiful shell.
