SPECIAL LIP BANDING AND SPOTTED PATTERN WOOOOOW!! New Location for this Mysterious species always buried during the day. The shell shows a extremely thick colossal lip, the lip in the outer side is coming with a kind of exquisite brown-white banding going to the dorsal as a brown multiple spots and finally the real dorsum presents a large dark brown dominant spot with wonderful effect, the ventral shiny side has a thick colossal lip with elegant white elongated denticles in the inside outer lip combined with fresh Orange color form, the parietal wall colors are between brown and cream Orange. Really beautiful specimen for the species with truly fresh colors. Some the natural tiny imperfections , like erosion and micro chips not really harming this beauty. Rough species living between strong currents and Giant waves. F+++-F++. Seldom seen original operculum. Uncommon species in Mexico!!! Hard to get in any conditions, Rarely offered with original operculum, hard to find between the animal. Fascinating animals with extreme colors and visibly dangerous. But they are not! The animal is very large and can crawl very fast. They usually hunt at night and are rarely found active during the day. They live in the intertidal zone from 1m to 15m in rare cases. They usually feed on sea urchins in the intertidal zone. For Cassidae lovers. Found buried between cracks with granulate sand in big stones-islets about 5m deep.
