| Note | An OUTSTANDING, ‘top of the line’ specimen of the very DEEP-WATER FORM – one of the FINEST of the JES Collection – from the ‘old days’ of deep-water Zoila diving. Incredibly beautiful, subtle colour: rich ivory ground, with nebulous background axial dashes of exquisite apricot-lavender, decorated with sporadic pale caramel maculae; spectacular cream margins, with large dark caramel maculae. Meticulously curated, with as fresh an apperanace as if collected this year. Thick resplendent gloss. (NOTE: Very few examples of the deep-water form, such as the current specimen, were collected from a depth below 50 metres, as such depths are treacherous and involve considerable risk.) Now extremely difficult to obtain, and a ‘collector’s item’ at this level of quality and beauty. A lentiginosa for the Zoila connoisseur.
