Sporadic large reddish chestnut maculae, across a rich pinlish yellow-ivory dorsal ground; dusky cinnamon terminals; nebulous BLUISH REGISTER surmounting high, ‘frosted’ margins. Hypermature, with great weight to size ratio. Data: Off Albany, Great Southern region, Western Australia, Australia; upon limestone reef substrate, amongst sponges and corals; 26 m; dived; 1995. Size: 74.8 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
