ULTRA RARE SPECIES IN MEXICO-FIRST TIME I HAVE FOUND LIVE!! The geographic distribution of this species is recorded from the Gulf of Tehuantepec, Mexico, to Peru and the Galápagos in Ecuador. This specimen is the first ever recorded more than 1,000 km north of the Gulf of Tehuantepec, Mexico. A historic discovery for this species. Now found in the central Mexican pacific in Jalisco. Obviously extremely rare and new Location ever. The shell is rough with natural growth marks, erosion in the spire, apex absent and micro holes here and there, the lip is intact and very thick for the species , aperture is really excellent. This was a real live collected, the animal was complete white! Even if this specimen is not the best , It is the perfect representation of the species found in this new area of the Mexican Pacific, which had not been previously recorded in this region. F+-F++ . Found buried under large stone between fine white sand about 6m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2026.
