| Note | F+++; Rare Malleus albus White Hammer Oyster with Dual Spondylus Attachments – Natural Sea Sculpture. On dorsum: Extraordinary collector's piece consisting of two specimens firmly anchored to their original natural calcareous matrix. Both shells feature an elaborate sculpture, rich in characteristic well-developed spines and ridges. The first specimen displays a delicate and uniform antique pinkish-purple coloration with pure white spines; the second boasts warm shades of brown, orange, and yellowish, with perfectly preserved sharp spines. A combination of colors and structures with an exceptional aesthetic impact, completely intact.On base: Shows the complex and robust lower anchoring structure. The calcareous and coralline matrix develops longitudinally into a distinct, elongated, and solid shape, cream-white in color with natural gray-blue shading at the joints. Both mollusks are firmly and originally fused to the rock. The attachment base is clean, stable. [PE2275] |
