| Note | CALYPTRAEIDAE - Crepidula excavata (Broderip, 1834). FANTASTIC DARK BROWN STRIPED WOOOOW!! Seldom seen species nowadays. Splendid dark brown glossy color with multiple tiny striped pattern between, making a great effect. Elevated dorsum, the spire, apex and lip are really complete and natural. The ventral side displays a vivid bright white septum combined with glossy dark brown and marvelous "Roots" effect white pattern. Some microscopic tiny holes around not really harmint this beauty. F+++. Found attached between buried muddy stones about 4m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2026. Value for this Magnificent dark brown color form: 10-15 euro or more.
