| Note | A beautiful shell distinguished by its exceptionally large violet-colored aperture and an elegant, finely defined banding pattern. The protoconch is missing, a condition that does not diminish the specimen’s striking visual appeal. Collected among leaf litter in a humid montane forest at an elevation of 1,650 meters above sea level in the southern part of the Department of Santander, Colombia, in July 2024. Specimens from this increasingly threatened Andean habitat are becoming progressively more difficult to obtain, making this shell an attractive opportunity for the discerning malacological collector.
