| Note | Phenomenally dark pigmented specimen exhibiting the desirable "gondola" form and the "look." View lower images in the collage. The shell shows nude/cream/ sienna brown/ primary dorsum colors and black chocolate lateral walls. The shell exudes a wonderfully black/brown maculated dorsum pattern with a few windows of blue/grey primary hues mixed in with a wide disappearing dorsal line. The shell is elongate and has a pitch black/dark chocolate brown hyper-glazed base. The shell displays significant rostration and is a beauty to behold. Taken by Scuba diver at 18 meters off Two Rocks, north of Perth, Western Australia in 2018 while nestled on a reef ledge. The shell displays some negligible micro blemishes, a soft natural wobble on the labral anterior ramp and a short crease on the labral posterior ramp. Impossible to see in images. Grade: F+++. |
