Wonderfully patterned, richly colored, large hyper-inflated specimen displaying bluish/nude deep primary hues and a striking yellow/brown dorsal line. It's large size, thick rich nacre, perfect pink hued extremities/base and inflated shape make this shell highly collectable. The specimen displays intense spotting, pink fringed margins, and an excellent size/weight ratio (80.2.grams). The thick rounded margins have a wonderful pinkish spotting pattern and the dorsal spot collage forms four diffuse blotches, a rarely seen pantherina pattern. The pantherina was plucked from a coral/sand reef at 30 meters by Scuba diver at night off Sharm El-Naga, south of Hurghada, Egypt in 3/2020. The specimen displays negligible glazed micro blemishes on the dorsum. Grade: GEM minus.
