This is a unique specimen for the collector who has everything....except this one. The prehistoric appearance, the striking dark oval framing the dorsal spot collage and the depressed almost fossil shell anatomy is extraordinary. Extreme hyper-calloused margins and narrow channeled extremities almost suggest that it is a throwback from Jurassic Park. The shell shows a thick glossy nacre, no lateral wall spotting on labral lateral wall and a sparse collection on the columellar wall with a porcelain white beyond thick base. Live taken by hookah diver 10 meters under coral rubble off Zamboanga, Philippines circa 2020. Rock Heavy at 70.3 grams. The shell shows subtle subnacre blemishes. Grade: GEM minus.
