Note
An exquisite, intricately pattern and perfectly sculptured rare deep-water cone. This is an anatomically admirable/balanced/symmetrical specimen. The elegant and regal shell demonstrates a superb intricate pattern composed of lighter tawny/brown hues. The natural lip and spire are flawless and the main body features a moderately glossy nacre and three bands on the body whorl accentuated by the oblique longitudinal/striated classic lineated patterns. Collected by local fisherman using the tangle net at 150-180 meters off Balut Island, Sarangani Strait, Mindanao, Philippines in late 2023. The specimen reveals a few subtle shallow growth folds and a nicked protoconch. Grade: F+++.
