NoteHere is a classic LARGE DARK example of the Bernier Island form of Z.rosselli. A lovely WIDE SHAPE to this dark coloured shell which is a great example of the species despite the obvious flaws. F+ as this shell was DEAD COLLECTED with many blisters on the margins and base and a sand grain on the top point of the dorsum. DEAD COLLECTED from a sand hole amongst sponges on low profile limestone reef at 43m. Bernier Island, W.A. July 2026
