| Note | THICK MASSIVE AND COLOSSAL LIP AND GLOBOSE HEAVY FORM!! UNCOMMON SPECIES!! The shell displays the most thick and dense spectacular spiral ribs and globose form, impressive massive, fat and thick lip with intact conditions, the columellar inner lip is, the columellar lip is also intact, thick and truly extended, apex and siphon with intact excellent prime conditions. The Parietal wall, columellar lip and outer lip are really glossy and with light cream caramel color between. Super intact lip, incredible denticles and undulating form—amazing teeth throughout the lip. The most exquisite, unique wide aperture WOOOOW!! Stupefying elevated columellar folds. Some minor growth natural marks as usual for the species not really harming this elegant thick, fat, heavy and globose beauty. F+++. For advancer collectors. The best of the best for the species. One of my favorite big shells in the pacific with so unique form and sculpture compare with all Tonas species and the biggest of the Maleas species. They are most night active , They are rarely hunting during the day. Hard to find in the day because they are most complete buried. Superb piece!!!. Found buried in sand under huge muddy platforms between dead huge corals structures about 6m deep. Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2026. Estimated value between 50-70 euros.
