| Note | RARE EXTREME UNIQUE ELEGANT SPIRAL FORM WOOOOOW!! VERMETIDAE - Tripsycha tulipa (Chenu, 1843). (also known as Eualetes tulipa or the worm snail) is a rare sessile marine gastropod of the family Vermetidae. Its shell grows cemented to rocks, taking on an irregular, tubular, and curved shape, resembling that of a worm or a snake. This is definitely one of the hard to get specimens removing stones very deep between huge stones and not breaking the shell. Rare original operculum with the best intact and complete rare apex you can get. Natural conditions with the most elegant spiral dream form from aperture to the apex area. Some natural imperfections as usual not really detracting the beauty of this crazy unique form. Some kind of erosion and natural imperfections as usual for the species and Giant sizes. The most impressive shape with elegant forming shell. Something incredible about this unique piece is that it was attached in two large stones and the chances of it coming out intact were almost impossible, but luck was on my side and a magic blow with my tool dislodged it from the two stones. Elegant unique form, 81mm the longest part. The most exceptional high selection of this extreme rough species with the best form and great conditions. Really hard to remove from stones and almost impossible to get intact, natural conditions. F+++-F++. Found attached under large stone with mud about 2 to 3m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico.
