LOTTIIDAE - Lottia stanfordiana (Berry, 1957). SPECIAL LARGE TENTS PATTERN AND DREAM COLOR FORM WOOOOOW!! Look at this spectacular extra large white tents pattern combined with the dark green colors between. A jewel and a dream for aesthetic collectors. No erosion not damage no scars the real Gem masterpiece. The ventral side presents a glossy dark brown-green-white large spotted ring around the lip combined with green-bluish color. The best of the best for the species, hard, difficult and dangerous to get them between strong currents and big waves. This has a Marvelous patterns for connoisseurs of this Family, so hard to get this high level conditions, color and pattern. Apparently feeding on the marine soup that comes and goes with the currents, waves and seaweeds, this species lives where the waves break and in the intertidal zone. Really hard to remove from stones without braking them. Found attached to the rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide. Near Playa Arroyo Seco, Jalisco, Mexico. June 2025.
