Crassilabrum crassilabrum , (G. B. Sowerby II, 1834)
Size
26.9 mm
Locality
Caldera, northern Chile
Note
One very nice specimen of Crassilabrum crassilabrum. This is an SE Pacific endemic Muricidae species which lives in the rocky intertidal, where it feeds on cirripedians. This specimen was collected washed ashore alive among algae. A very low initial price for an interesting species.
