| Note | Rare species endemic to the remote Swains Reef Archipelago in the Coral Sea off Queensland. Only a very limited number of specimens were collected during specialised collecting expeditions funded by private collectors in the early 2000's. The establishment of the area as a marine park has since completely cut off any specimens from being collected in future. Dead collected specimen that has cleaned up quite nicely, unfortunately it has some nacre loss ~ F+. Nice, very broad shape and has a scar as a result of a healed chip in the lower lip. Good representative specimen of a very rare and difficult to acquire species at a low price |
