NoteSuperb and giant specimen with accentuated anatomical features. This specimen is 0.2 mm larger than the current registered world record (WRS is 93.0 mm). This specimen has yet to be registerd. Fantastic distribution of dark stripes on the body whorl with fine classic profound varix fluting of the leading varix. The shell shows an intact spire, perfect protoconch and body whorl. Collected by Scuba diver at 12-15 meters on rocks between kelp beds off Northern Palos Verdes, California at night in 2022. There are a few small nicks and erosion on the terminal varix edges evident. Grade: F+++.
