Globose and moderately humped specimen with splendid dark and vivid bright colors wrapped in a rich thick nacre. The shell is a winner with a rich lustrous nacre, darker mottled dorsal bilateral blotches separated by a fine well demarcated dorsal line and accentuated by a finely mottled primary pattern. The deep water and moderately heavy valentia shows perfect thick extremity terminals framed by the classic fine brown concentric lines (65.9 grams). The shell is complemented by a diffuse collection of black and misty blue ringed spots on the glassy lateral walls. The base and margins glow in nude color with spotting circumscribing the base. Collected by compressor diver at 70 meters in a rock ledge off Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines in 2023. Great form, color and symmetry. The shell is difficult to flaw and shows no detectable defects. Grade: GEM.
