NoteBrilliantly patterned specimen with rich color transitional hues, classic large lateral wall marginal spotting, superb form with deep sparkling glassy nacre. The specimen shows notable inflation and modest rostration. This shell demonstrates a beautiful array of transverse spotted lines dorsally, painted on the blue/grey primary tinted dorsum. The specimen also shows mild marginal tuberculation and an impressive glossy flawless base and extremities. Harvested by Scuba diver at 15 meters while grazing in sponges on the side of large granite boulders off Albany, Western Australia in 2015. The shell has a hard to notice soft palpable growth fold on the posterior ramp and many color gradient longitudinal lines on the dorsum that are not considered defects. Grade: F+++/GEM.
