This is, to our knowledge, the first specimen collected alive and offered on the market, making it an especially noteworthy opportunity for specialists and collectors of rare deep-water gastropods. The specimen is in exceptionally beautiful condition, displaying an unusually rich and attractive colour pattern and an overall highly aesthetic appearance. Particularly remarkable is the perfectly preserved operculum, clearly visible in the aperture, providing an additional and rarely encountered feature of a live-collected specimen. A spectacular and exceptionally aesthetic specimen, combining rarity, live collection, excellent preservation, striking colouration and a precisely documented deep-water locality. |
