NoteImpressively wide/calloused specimen with an exceptional and striking pattern/rich colored base with a thick sparkling/glistening nacre. The heavy shell demonstrates a high weight/size ratio (24.5 grams), significant corrugation of the thick, extraordinarily-flared/calloused and radically flanged margins with profound rounded convexity of the base. The dorsum exhibits lightly dispersed pepper spotting and the shell exudes attractive color with a stunning caffè latte brown/burnt/flame orange maculae/pigmented base graced by honey/pumpkin orange pigmented overtones. The shell has perfect extremities, margins and base without defects. This is a awesome specimen harvested by diver Callum Edinger hanging out on the side of a Geodia sponge at 40-42 meters off Bernier Island, Carnarvon, Western Australia in 6/2026. Data tag from Callum included. The specimen displays shallow growth wobbles/folds on the dorsum typical for the species and termed “growthy” by many collectors. All other features are devoid of flaws. Grade: F+++.
