From my personal collection. (FINE++/GEM) Superb specimen of mappa admirabilis from Tuamotu Is., very rare provenance and large size. Very nice dorsal pattern and with typical blotched base. Most likely the anterior extremities have been very slightly polished to make them perfectly smooth, negligible issue not affecting at all the shell beauty. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING.
