| Note | LONG CURVED BRANCHED RARE SPINES!! What a crazy extended curved spines almost all around WOOOW!! This is the shell to display and presume with the highest long branched curved spines ever. The lip, dorsal side, shoulder and spire is really amazing spiny. All combined with the thickest black - light brownish elegant banding pattern. Top intact spire spines and dorsal. Apex, lip and siphon with excellent conditions. F+++-Gem. Open sea Hexaplex princeps are generally 99.9% completely ugly with classic dense erosion, missing spines all around, dense drill holes, no coloration or pattern, and thick calcareous organisms attached all around them almost impossible to remove, that is the common Hexaplex princeps. However, on very rare occasions and in very enclosed bays or lagoon mouths that are open to the sea, there are individuals with great condition, but finding them is always a mystery and really hard. With my years of experience and luck, I know of some places where they sometimes appear in ideal and striking conditions. Here I present this unique and unusual top selection for the species, choose your favorite in this great auction. For any MURICIDAE lovers of aesthetics and advancer collectors. Found attached on, under and between large muddy stones with oysters and mussels about 5m- 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. August 2026. Estimated value between 50-60 euros.
