NoteULTRA RARE EPITONIUM WOOOOOOOW!! Epidendrium billeeanum (commonly known as the golden wentletrap or yellow sea snail) maintains a highly specialized, parasitic relationship with Tubastraea corals (specifically Tubastraea coccinea, the orange cup or sun coral) along the Mexican Pacific coast and the Gulf of California. This is one of the most rare Epitonium I have ever found with crazy form and sculpture. The shell displays a dense crazy micro axial and spiral ribs all around. Really intact apex. Even this specimen was found fresh dead, with inside dried dead animal and some micro holes in the ventral side still superb nice for the representative of the species. This is the first time I have offered here. Do not miss this crazy rarity. Grade, see the pictures. Found between large sharp stones platforms with mud fresh dead at extremely low tide.
