CARDIIDAE - Papyridea aspersa (Sowerby, 1833). EXTREMELY GIANT SIZE FOR THE SPECIES WOOOOW!! One of the biggest we ever found, combined with GEM conditions and with the most rare kind of forming purplish pearl in one of the valves WOOOOOW!! Unusual rarity with the most elegant brown-purplish pattern you can get for this wonderful species. Delicate phenomenal intact spiny posterior dorsal side combined with multiple radial ribs with pinkish-white background color and dense multiple tiny purplish-brown spots. Intact umbo, thick lip and ligament. Virtually hard to get with this fresh colors. Resplendent unique pattern and striking strong seldom seen colored specimen, so elegant brown colorful pattern spots beauty and serrated lips. The ventral side displays a white shiny background color between purplish large spots and pinkish lips. Gem. Found buried in sand between muddy stones about 10m deep.
