A beautiful brown shell displaying a truly spectacular pattern, elegantly enhanced by a well-defined band running continuously along the entire spire. The outer lip (peristome) is glossy, well developed, and beautifully marked in attractive shades of beige and brown, providing clear evidence of full adult maturity — a highly desirable characteristic that is becoming increasingly rare and greatly appreciated in today’s international shell market. Exceptionally fresh, this specimen was recently collected from the leaf litter of a humid forest at 1,550 metres above sea level in August 2026. It originates from a region renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity, although its natural habitats are increasingly threatened by logging and deforestation. Material from these pristine habitats is becoming progressively scarcer, considerably enhancing the exclusivity and desirability of well-preserved specimens such as this one.
