ORIGINALLY FROM AN OLD JAPANESE COLLECTION! 67.70 mm, F+/F++, chipped top part of lip originally, got tiny matters here and there naturally and originally but they just don't harm the importance and total beauty of this rarity! with an Octopus or Naticidae drill hole on spire, 100% of all known specimens in world's collections of this rare species are always dead so this one with excellent pattern is another acceptable shell, trawled by old Japanese research vessel back in the late 90's, at 300 meters deep or deeper off Ryukyu Islands, Japan.
