A highly unusual and enigmatic rarity, exquisitely sculptured shell that resembles a soft-serve ice cream and also a highly sought after rarity. The shell has a strongly constricted (deeply indented) suture and a flaring, rounded shoulder, giving it a distinct tiered or spiralling look. A rare find from a region where bottom trawling is now prohibited. This specimen is a remarkable example of its species, combining aesthetic beauty and scientific significance. The shell has strong spiral sculpturing, natural lip and displays strong white shades with pastel buttermilk yellow tints. The rare specimen was trawled at 150 meters off the Great Australian Bight, Beachport, South Australia in the 90s. The shell exhibits one small shallow chip on the anterior siphon terminus. Grade: F+++.
