LIVE-COLLECTED, and of exceedingly RARE QUALITY for the species, size, and collection method – PERFECTION – with ultra-delicate pin-point protoconch INTACT. The Volutidae specialist will be aware of the true rarity of a monumental specimen of GEM quality of this typically extremely rough species. Ultra-rich, fully stable colour, having been meticulously curated since collection. Hypermature, with greatly thickened shell walls and apertural lip. Markedly elongate, upturned siphonal canal. An exceedingly rare opportunity for an advanced Volutidae specialist to acquire a ‘museum piece’ example of this now extremely difficult to obtain species.
