| Note | An exceptionally rare and intriguing species, seldom encountered and rarely offered on the international shell market. The shell’s surface is covered with minute, rounded granules arranged in delicate rows, while a striking chain-like pattern of bands extends along the entire spire, giving the shell a distinctive and highly unusual appearance. The umbilicus is deep and open. The ventral surface exhibits impact damage, a testament to the harsh natural conditions of its Andean habitat. Collected among the leaf litter of a humid Andean forest at an elevation of 2,100 metres above sea level. A truly scarce and distinctive shell, representing an excellent opportunity for collectors seeking rare and unusual land snails from the Colombian Andes. Only one specimen available — a rare chance to acquire this remarkable species! Condition: F+ |
