A good sized grayi, ROV collected west of Bernier Island, Western Australia from 78 metres of water during June 2026. We only collect one or two live deep water grayi per year. They are quite different to their shallow water cousins. A taupe coloured shell fading to a pretty apricot colour near the lip. It's protoconch is intact and has a good, delicate lip. This deep water form is rarely offered and would present well in your volute collection. Graded Fine+++ as there is some very minor roughness near the canal and minor growth irregularity.
