| Note | Cypraea bernardi, live collected in 70' at 55 meters deep by diver off Papeete, Tahiti. F+++ due to some inclusions visible on the base. 12,8 mm. Such live collected bernardi are extremely hard to get now because of their habitat which is deeper than years ago. I checked more than twice with my magnifying glass to make sure this one is well a live collected one, the gloss is perfect no marks that are found only when shell is dead collected even for fresh dead ones. |
