Note | This is a WORLD RECORD SIZE (LARGEST) specimen of Afer cumingii. At 81.3mm it surpasses the current registered specimen of 71.23mm by more than 1CM, a huge increase. A small chip on the aperture lip and one on the siphonal tail, is it only faults.
Trawled in the Taiwan Strait, Taiwan. Provenance of the M.Marrow collection with catalogue number. |
