Size | 58.0 mm |
Locality | Broome, N.W.Aust. |
Note | Most Broome decipiens (~90%) fall into the size range of 45mm to 50mm. When you see one close to 60mm then the volume of the shell is two fold. This is such a specimen at 58mm with a stunning distinct mantle line. Also exhibiting some dorsal maliation (faceting). A very attractive specimen, GEM- in condition with a micro pimple all I can see under magnification. Diver collected in 25M. due west of Broome, N.W. Australia. |
